Breakfast foods are a major challenge in my lifestyle so I'm always looking for something good to add to my meals.
Pulled this one out of the brain and was hoping it was palatable. It was.
Yay me.
Recipe:
1/2 of a large organic banana
1-1 1/2 cup of fresh organic raw spinach.
1T of Virgin Coconut Oil. I use unfiltered.
2T organic almond meal.(Bob's Red Mill)
1.5T whole chia seeds
1.5 cup of filtered water.
Dash of organic cinnamon
Add all ingredients except spinach, blend well, then add spinach. Blend for at least 40 seconds or until you see no visible chunks in the carafe.
I add a few ice cubes at this point. To cool it off.
If you add ice before hand, you will have frozen chunks of coconut oil.
Yes I know this first hand, no it was not good.
Feed your body whole, clean foods on the go. It's gluten free and vegan.
